Model : ler7646dqo serial : mf 0553308 Dryer seemed to be working then it would try to shut down then it would competely turn off. If I waited and turned it back on it would do it again. I took half the load out and it ran. Does that mean motor is going bad.
Have not solved problem but after messing with it more I think that the hi limit themostat may be the problem. It seems like if I let the dryer cool down then try it again it seems to work fine for awhile. Does this sound like something that may cause it to shut down. The load problem didn't seem to a factor for I reloaded it with the original load weight. I have not replaced part yet going to try few more loads soon.

I have a good idea that it may be the following;
Drum Roller Axle
This dryer has drum support rollers. There will always be two supporting the rear of the drum, and on some models there may be two supporting the front of the drum. The rollers must spin freely to work properly. If the roller axles are worn out the rollers may not spin freely which can overload the motor and the dryer stops. If the dryer stops mid-cycle, remove the belt and spin the drum, it should spin freely. If not, check the rollers and roller shafts.

I understand that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dryer, model# LEQ1442ES0, shutting itself off after about a minute. I see that the lights to the far right flash 6 times and then the start and cancel button flash 2 times. This also, only seems to occur when the weather is warm and humid. I suggest putting a dehumidifier near your dryer during the warmer months to see if this helps to draw the humidity away from the dryer. The humidity can cause your appliance to not run as it should. The other suggestion I have, would be to reset your dryer. You will do this by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
I have a frigidaire affinity dryer serial #xd72014132. It runs for a minute or so and then shuts off and displays pauze. The buttons do not seem to be stuck and work properly. Any idea what is wrong with it?
this could be one of two things the heating element that heats the air has broken or the noise you heard was the bushes on the motor going and then they burnt out.
either the heater elements need replacement or most likely the motor needs new bushes or replacing all toghether.
this will need a qualifed engineer to resolve. considering the age of the machine if it is many years old it might be cheaper to replace the machine for a new one. ask your engineer how much it will cost to repair before he starts the work and decide the best action.
Hi, If the motor is shutting down mid cycle and can not be restarted untill cooled, the motor will need changed. It is shutting off on a safety overload. These motors cost about $145.00 Please let me know if I can assirt you further.
Hi, the motor is overheating. i recommend inspecting the motor windings for splits or separation within the strands. make sure all wire connectors to the motor are not corroded or lose. replace the motor if there are signs of windings failures or discolored copper strands.
