Dlink sells Routers that can 'repeat' the signal and extend range of existing WiFi routers.
Also, try to update the firmware to a current one to ensure maximum speeds can be achieved with your appliances or other PCs that use WiFi.

Good luck on this.

Zyxel PK5001Z keeps disconnecting after 15 minutes in games, cannot connect to PSP and can barely connect to XBOX 360

I see a whole lot of answering and very little reading. After speaking with Centurylink's tech support for several weeks I had a lady who saw the amount of times I called in and forwarded me to her boss. He told me that they were having that same problem in house and that it appeared to be a firmware issue that they couldn't locate. He offered to ship me an older modem that didn't have Draft N, which I could care less about because I don't share files wirelessly all the time. So there you have it, from what I've seen it appears to be a packet loss as only certain things disconnect at times. For me it could be a game and vent or just the game or just vent. It is definitely these PK5001Z modems though.

Signal not strong enough can I boost it

The "Wireless / Advanced" configuration window contains a setting for transmit power. Be sure it is set to 100%.
Otherwise, your only options are to replace the antenna with a booster antenna, or to add a stronger wireless router as an access point to your current setup. Using a booster antenna requires the D-Link to have a removable antenna, which it may not have -- none of the documentation calls this out as a feature.
Keep in mind that if you are trying to use this router over excessive distances, boosting the router's own power will not necessarily improve your connection, because the broadcast power of the remote PCs is also a limiting factor.

My N router will not reach the distance that I want it to.

Your only hope is if you have an internet connection closer to where you want the signal to reach. If so then put the router at that point.
Otherwise you might be able to Google for a firmware upgrade for your particular router. I have heard of some firmwares that boost a routers signal. BUT I would have someone do it who is familiar with firmware upgrades.

Boosting Signal Strength

Greetings,
It is more likely the placement of the router an/or PS3. If possible do not place anything on top of them and make sure there is space around the units.
You can try using a repeater which will amplify your wi-fi signal. A repeater is a small box that will lock onto your wifi and extend the range of your current router. Here are some examples:

You can also try the cheap solutions found in these two videos for boosting antenna strenght:
