Check to see if Coleman has an attachment to replace the regulator, so that you can use a five gallon cylinder with your stove and your own regulator.

Ho cold waas it out? remember that when its cold out the presswure of the propane tanks are real low and you have to warm them for the pressure to go up. if your by your car then you can place them inside with the heater going till they warm up ofr now worm them up inside first. good luck

SOURCE: Black soot on Coleman propane burner

Had same problem. Coleman tech support said, " clean with pipe cleaners". No directions....I would think they would provide a step by step protocol. So, I chose to take the knobs off and use the pipe cleaner where I could. I was able to take one of the two burner control knobs apart. After sticking the clean in every nook I could find, I put back together, and the flame on that burner is back to normal,

413e coleman stove

Is there a reason or a need? I cannot imagine why you would want to, except as a point of interest for your camp kitchen. A new propane stove would work better and not cost all that much, relative to the work and cost of putting fittings, pipes and burners into the old stove box.

The electronic ignition (piezo lighter) on my Coleman 2-burner propane camp stove just quit sparking to 1 burner. It still lights the 2nd burner. A fix?

I've had this issue a few times. Complete cleaning of the under side of the burner and all components of the ignition system fixes it every time.
The slightest bit of carbon build up is the probable cause. I would suggest cleaning the contact with 400 grit or higher emory cloth. This will remove any contamination from the ignitor,

I connect the propane valve to the stove and it doesn't work, i just bought a new propane and still it doesn't work, my grandfater didn't use it for almos 4 years. what could happened?

Here's an easy solution. Turn the Tank Valve OFF, disconnect the hose from the tank and wait 5 minutes. Reconnect connect the hose to the tank and turn the Tank Valve ON VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow). Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the grill first. Once it lights, turn it to it's highest setting and light the remaining burners the same way. Once all are lit, does the flame height look as it should? Is so, you solved the problem. If not, then you need to replace the grill hose/regulator assembly. You can purchase one from any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. Take you old one with you for comparison purposes.

If what I suggested solved the problem, remember to always turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

Hope this helped you solve the problem.

My coleman stove does not let the propane pass from the hose to the burner. I have determined that the hose is releasing the propane as I can depress the nozzle and get the gas to flow. The stove is clean...

This is a camp stove issue. I fixed it with my tire pump. I opened up all the valves, duck taped the hose to the stove valve and pumped air thru the system. No more blockage. Works like a charm.
