Question about Bosch 1199VSR 8.5 Amp 1/2 Inch Hammer Drill
My 4 yr. old Bosch VSR 1199 hammer drill started slipping when I'm using it in hammer mode to drill 3/16" Tapcon holes in concrete. What part do you think I should look at when I disassemble it? I found the whole parts diagram online ( http://www.ereplacementparts.com/bosch-1199vsr-electric-drill-parts-c-128_1010_4165.html ) , and it looks like most parts are available. I am very handy at repairing my own tools. Just haven't had a chance to look at this one yet. Thanks, Marc P. Auburn,NY email@example.com
Inside there is a little plastic shaft, where the selector hooks to. They have had problems over the years stripping. Replacement part is still plastic. Yay! You may need a bearing puller or find some way to get the clutch off the shaft. Lemme know. Please rate me
