Why wont my Tv turn back on after the electricity went off?

Did you have your television plugged into an outlet with a surge protector? Does it do anything when trying to turn it on? Might have fried it when power came back on or when elec. went off.

Tv turns off doesn't come back on

it could be a power board problem but there are several causes for its shutdown. unless you have a background on electronic troubleshooting, you could try to fix it and find defective electronic component then replace them. if not you could just have it repaired by a reliable service area or person.

Is it plugged into the power ? A fuse could be blown. A power supply failed. Short happened in the load on the power supply. All of these will stop the set from coming on and several more. You need to have it checked out. Stargazer
