Greetings bonebayhon,

Depends on what type of connections your television currently has. Most likely you will want to use an A/V selector to utilize the connections on your television. The best type of connection a Nintendo 64 has is S-video.

I hope this helps!

SOURCE: nintendo 64 wont work on my tv

If you are using the original AV plug for the N64, it will probably not work on a new TV.  You must find a new AV plug in a store, or on eBay, Amazon, etc.  This plug must have the red, white, and yellow ends to it.  those are the color coded ends that go into the TV.

you have to make sure that the N64 output cables EXACTLY MATCH the input cables on the tv. red goes to plain red, white goes to plain white, ETC., make sure that the TV input mode is the right one.

How do i connect a 64 nintendo to the tv HITACHI

I am presuming that by 64 nintendo you are refering to a Nintendo 64 console (or N64 for short). to connect it to any TV you will need a N64 RFunit which is often in the back of the N64 already along with a wire that goes to a standard ariel. just connect this ariel to the ariel port in the back of you Hitachi TV and it should connect. If you have any further issues with this, feel free to e-mail me at garleet@hotmail.co.uk :)

N64 is pretty old so RCA connections is about the best your going to get. Not sure where You could pick this up locally since the one end that plugs into the game system is unique to the Nintendo 64 but this it what it looks like and it will run you like 8 bucks on the Net.

If connecting by co axial or aerial type connection then you will have to tune in a channel using either manual or automatic tuner on the TV. It would be better/simpler if you had phono or scart connections from the nintendo

I have a HIgh Def DLP TV can I hook the 64 up to it.

All newer TV's will have the old connections, the composite ones (red, yellow, white). So, yes, you will be able to connect your 64 to your TV.

Good luck.

Check all of your plugs, make sure they are clean. Make sure the game that you have inside the system is clean and free of dust as well as the game connector port on the system. Make sure you are on your A/V channel. If all else fails, you ma have to gt a new A/V plug. When I got my Nintendo 64, I tried to plug it in to my TV using the plug that came with it, but it did not work. I soon found that the Playstation 2 A/V cable that I have also has two additional cables to it, and one of them works in the N64 system. So, I tried to play the system with that cable plugged in, and it worked, so I would suggest buying a new A/V cable that works in the N64 system.

Hope this helps!!!!!
