SOURCE: monogram wall oven F9 error

“F— AND A NUMBER • You have a function error code. Press the CLEAR/OFF pad. Allow the OR LETTER” FLASH oven to cool for one hour. Put the oven back into operation. IN THE LOWER OVEN • If the function code repeats, disconnect all power to the oven for at DISPLAY least 30 seconds and then reconnect power. If the function error code repeats, call for service Here is someone that had the exact same problem: intermittent F7 error code. I couldn't even get it to do the F7 error . There's a pretty good tech service sheet inside the control panel. I followed its procedure for testing the keypad (which was nothing more than pressing all the buttons and hearing it go "BEEP!" silly.gif). But the tech sheet did mention that intermittent F7 problems are usually caused by poor connections. So I pulled the ribbon connector off the control board and cleaned the copper connectors using a pink pencil eraser. That whupped that puppy! But then I went out on another service call, same oven, different house. The pink pencil eraser trick didn't work on this one so I had to apply some of that famous Samurai gray matter. To identify the problem on this one, I cut power to the range and disconnected the ribbon connector that connected the touch pad to the electronic range control (ERC) board. Then I re-applied power and let it sit that way for 24 hours after which the customer was instructed to call me and report on the error code status of the oven. If no error code was reported, I knew the touch pad was the problem. If, on the other hand, the F7 error code came back, then I knew the (ERC) was the culprit. In this case, the error code did not come back during the test period and, using my keen, Vulcan-like powers of deduction, concluded that the touch pad was defective. I replaced the touch pad and problem solved! It's important that you don't skimp the disconnect test because there's a big difference in price between the ERC and touch pad. So, you want to be right on this one. Ok, after you do this test and determine which part you need to replace, come and get it here. **** this helps. :]

SOURCE: Electrolux Icon Oven won't self clean - "Remove Racks" displayed

I was getting the remove rack error until I finally figured out what it wanted me to remove. When you say you removed the rack supports, do you mean just the sliding parts or the whole side metal rack support? At first I thought they were bolted in, but I read somewhere that they come out, too. Upon further investigation, I found the rack supports just slide into the side walls at 4 points. I had to use a little force to pull them out, but they came out and my oven is self-cleaning as I write this. I just thought I would share in case you or others haven't figured it out yet. Now I will just have to see how hard it is to get them back in...

Moffat Stove with a self-cleaning oven. I would like to know how to clean the oven using the "self cleaning" feature

hi there! I have a moffat stove and hopefully these instructions help you.
First clear out the racks in your oven. Take them out and remove any excess chunks at the bottom.
Then close your oven door and lock it by pulling the lock latch.
Now looking at your oven knobs [not your burner knobs] turn both of them so they are both on the arrow knob [your oven knobs should have small pictures on them and both should have arrows]
Now you need to set the time so in the middle of your oven their should be a timer and one start and stop timer on top of each other. Both timers go in increments of half an hour. So if you are starting your self cleaner at 3 move the dial to 3 or if you are starting at 3:30 move the dial to one tick after 3. Once you set your start timer, you need to set your stop timer.
Setting your stop timer, it is recommended to set it for 3-5 hours. I set mine for 4 hours. So then set stop timer to time you want the cleaning to be. If you set your start timer at 3:30 put your stop timer at 7:30.
The oven will start cleaning according to the time you set. The oven will get very hot. I recommend to not used the burners as the temperature goes to 500 degrees! You will smell an odor and that is your oven cleaning.... Hope this helps...

Wolf Double Oven

I had the same problem with a Wolf L-Series double wall oven (Model DO30) and called for service (under extended warranty contract). The tech told me that the F1 error is a latch problem (you know the one that grabs and locks the door during self-clean cycles). He cleared the error using a series of "secret" button presses on the control panel and the problem cleared. Now, when it happens (which isn't very frequently), I do the same thing he did ... press "0" and "Temperature" for the oven causing the problem and hold them for about 5 seconds. The oven will ding and the display will show some diagnostics, including the error event. Press "Cook Time" and "Stop Time" while in this diagnostic mode to clear the error register, then press "Off". I've also tried to keep the area across the top of the oven opening clean (with a little degreaser), especially around the latch, and I've sprayed a bit of WD-40 into the latch periodically for lubrication and cleaning.

After self clean, jtp15 panel does not work

This may be related to the F7 problem. The error does not always show up on the display. It typically develops after a self-clean cycle. Go to my solution at the following link:

I have shared this solution with over 1500 folks and most report success. Let me know if this works for you at:
