Question about Avaya Corded Phone avaparp18d
Due to downturn in economy, now only have one Verizon line coming into our Partner ACS, but want to utilize Call Waiting on that one line. Followed the instructions for activating Call Waiting (#316). If you're on the phone (outside line), and another call comes in, you hear the two beeps. When you press the hookswitch, the new call is answered, but the first call is dropped. Is there any additional programming that's required, or do you have to have more than one line for this to work?
It's easier and more stable to program a button for FLASH (F03). The timing is in program 107 and sets to about 18-20 for 450 to 500 milliseconds.
