Our Octane elliptical is showing a brake cable error and looking for suggestions. Thanks!

It could be that the brake is faulty or just the cable has been pulled out. It could also mean the motor is faulty. You will need to have a tech look at this.

KNOCKING SOUND FROM THE EGINE

Preferably the car is driven in D.
Knocking occurs due to the following reasons:
- Partially engaged brakes or car is driven with hand brake pulled .
- Contaminated or low octane fuel.
- Fuel pump pressure.
- Heavy carbon deposits on combustion chamber and piston top.
- Faulty knock sensor.
- Faulty MAP or Mass air flow sensor.
- Exhaust system clogged.

Error 20 on Q47 Octane Eliptical

Sounds like it needs to be fixed. It will need a new left motor and cord most likely, less likely a lower board.

Been using 87 octane in '02 maxima for 1yr. have replaced oxy & nkock sensors. Is this due to low octane?

Ok the 2002 Maxima 3.5 requires premium fuel 91 octane. According to the owners manual for optimum performance use 91 octane, you can use 87 octane unless you get pinging sounds. Sounds like you just need to use the proper octane. Occasionally I will run regular 87 and can really feel a loss of power. When I use 91 octane the car is a rocket ship.

How can i fix the brakes on a diamondback octane 24?

Brakes can have a number of things wrong with them, as they are a crucial part of the bikes safety and fairly complicated, this is probably not the best first time project and I would recommend taking the bike into your local bike shop.

If you insist on working on the brakes yourself, and it is good to know how to work on your brakes, then you should get a good repair manual that clearly explains the process and what tools you will need for your specific brakes.

Books are readily available at any bookstore and many bike shops (where you will be buying the parts and most likely tools, anyway)

Here is a couple of good ones. Park tool repair manual (the big blue book) and Zinn and the art of mountain bike maintance.

Having DTC 0300 intermittant error code with rough idle and stumbling acceration on 2002 corvette with 20,000 miles just started, worse at idle and acceleration

iwould say try some octane booster sounds like poor quality fuel p0300 is a multiple misfire so start with that and i believe vettes are supposed to run 89 or better octane

What type of oil can the 92 accord take

SAE 5W-30 only for the Engine It doesnt matter if its Synthetic or not..Hondas are well engineered to deal with "Normal" oil same with Fuel...87 Octane is fine..higher Octane is just a waste of money...Fancy engine oil would also be a waste of money...as for trans fluid or steering/brake fluid etc...Buy them at a Honda Dealership. they use a sightly different formula than the aftermarket counterparts. and allows for you car parts to last alot longer. Engine oil is the only exception to this.. Hope this helps.

1998 S-10 cold start

The cold weather wreaks havoc on everything. I am thinking that the cold weather and your octane rating are not getting along, hence no error codes. Have you tried fuel drier and or octane booster?Since the truck starts when the temperature gets warmer, I would look at octane as the culprit. Try some octane booster and see if that helps. Let me know. Hope this helps.
