Bios emachine

First check is your volume mixer if you notice that your audio device is properly working. Simply right click your audio shown beside your time and date and select Open Volume Mixer make it sure that no one is mute. If it is working properly, second is go to control panel and select RECOVERY and open system restore, choose exact date that your audio device working properly. If not simply uninstall and install the driver. All of them it doesn't work just buy usb audio device like this https://www.google.com.ph/search?q=usb+audio+device&client=firefox-a&hs=U7k&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=_MDMUqTZCc7PiAfyt4GYDQ&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1024&bih=718#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=wfRzEF_R6kAGdM%3A%3B1vCA49U-0gpQJM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.techfuels.com%252Fattachment.php%253Fattachmentid%253D18198%2526d%253D1271760841%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.techfuels.com%252Fthreads%252F35253-USB-2-0-3D-7-1-Channel-Audio-Sound-Card-Adapter%3B479%3B369.

Blue hue on computer, but not caused by the monitor. Does it come from the graphic card?

Yes probably it came from the graphic card, you should try cleaning it or reconnect it to your computer, if cleaning and reinstalling doesnt work, then you have to buy a new one.

My audio is not working

You can check your audio by using these steps.

1. If you have speakers, check if it is plugged properly into your audio port which is the port with the "green" color. Check your speakers if it is turned on, put to low volume, or no power or check your audio settings on your computer if it is muted.

2. If step 1 doesnt make your audio work, you should check if your computer has audio driver installed, it depends on the manufacturer which audio driver should you install. if it is built in audio, you could use the mother board driver cd.

3. If still your audio is not working , you may have problems on your device. If you have external audio device, you should try to check if it is plugged properly on your motherboard. If still doesnt work. you should buy a new one..

Hope this will help you out. =)

Hp compaq nx7400 - battery died and power cord will not turn comp

Do you have another power cord to check? Most places like bestbuy is willing to let you test a universal power cord for your type of laptop before you buy. Usually in your case, the power cord or connector has gone bad. If you test the laptop at the store and it doesnt work then its your connector but if it works. you could consider buying that power cord.

Screen goes black

i had the same problem, it ended up being a bad stick of ram for me. what you need to do is pull out all of your PCI cards, and try to boot, if it still doesnt boot, pull out a stick of ram (if you have 2) try to boot. if it still doesnt boot, swap out the sticks of ram. if the pc boots after you pull out your PCI cards, put them in one-by-one, if it boots after you put a PCI card in, leave it in, and put another one in. once you find one where it wont boot, scrap that card, it is damaged. if you get all of your PCI cards out, and back in, and it still wont boot, try switching your jumper blocks, you will have to google what jumper blocks are its too hard to explain. if that doesnt work, and you only have one stick of ram, you proably have bad ram. try to find a buddy with good ram and see if he will let you borrow it to try, but make sure it is the same kind of ram. if your buddy's ram works, go out and buy a stick of that ram. if all of the above doesnt work, you have a processor problem, and you are better off buying an brand new pc. because processors arnt cheap, and they are easily damaged. hope this helps.

look for a yellow exclamation point or red X where the cd-rom is.
