It started to print crooked, now won't print at all and all lights flashing, I've pressed continue and cancel, no paper jamed any where that I can see, I've turned the printer off and left it off for over 3 hours hoping it would reset or clear the problem

Re: won't print, all lights flashing
Driver could be corrupt. Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off.
I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the
printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Press and hold the "Continue" button. While holding it down, turn the printer on. The power LED light will now start flashing. Once it stops flashing, release the "Continue" button and close the front cover.
Press the "Cancel" button four times in a row.

print job, or resume printing. The lights give you visual cues about the state

cartridge is low on ink or incorrectly installed.

If ! light displays a solid light it means that the printer front door is open, print cartridge is missing, or a flash option has been installed that is not supported. Please Close the door, install a print cartridge, or install a supported flash option. The printer will automatically reset.
If ! light and Continue button (green button) displays a solid light, it means a printer error. The printer memory is too full to collate the print job. To continue printing press and release continue button to clear the message. To cancel press and release the X (red button).

Enter the printer's Configuration Menu. To do this:
Turn off the printer.
Open the front cover
Press and hold the Continue () button.
With the front cover open and the Continue button pressed down, power on the printer.
Hold the Continue button until all the lights cycle.
When just the Error light (!) is
displayed, close the front cover. The top four lights of the operator
panel should come on, indicating that the printer is in configuration
Print the Configuration Settings page. To do this:
Press and hold the Continue () button until all of the lights flash. This page lists the functions within the Configuration Menu.

When the Ready () light is on, press the Continue button once. The Ready light will begin flashing and one or two pages will print out.
Check the photoconductor reading on the menu settings page. To do this:
Look for a section labeled Cartridge Information and locate the word Photoconductor under that heading.
Confirm that the photoconductor level reading is OK or close to 100%.
If the photoconductor reading is low, try printing 10 - 20 pages.
Print the menu settings page(s) again. Confirm that the photoconductor level reading is OK or close to 100%.
If the photoconductor reading is still low, refer to the Configuration Settings page you printed in Step 2.
Confirm that Reset Photoconductor Counter is listed on the page. Also confirm that the light sequence for the photoconductor counter is the Toner Low light.
If the light sequence is correct, try repeating this
entire procedure again from the beginning to reset the counter once
If a different light sequence is listed for the
photoconductor counter, repeat the procedure but this time, instead of
stopping at the Toner Low light (Step 3.2), press the Cancel button until the operator panel shows the light sequence that corresponds to the one listed on the Configuration Settings page. Continue with the remainder of the procedure as before to reset the counter again.
If the photoconductor reading is still low after
the page reset procedure has been performed twice, the printer may
Try to run a test for continuous print test page in diagnostics mode. To enter the Diagnostics mode:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Open the front access door.
3. Turn on the printer while pressing and holding Cancel .
4. Close the front access door once the Error light displays. Print the menu page by pressing and holding Continue until all of the lights flash. Follow the instructions on the menu page to access the menu items.

When a printer error occurs, the POWER/ERROR lamp flashes. The number of flashes indicates the type of error that has occurred.
Count the flashes and take the appropriate action to correct the error. Number of Flashes Possible Cause Try This Two flashes Printer is out of paper/Paper does not feed Reload paper in the Sheet Feeder or Cassette and press the RESUME/CANCEL button. Three flashes Paper jam/Paper Output Tray is closed Clear the jammed paper, reload paper in the printer, then press the RESUME/ CANCEL button. If the Paper Output Tray is closed, open it. See “Paper Jams” on page 72. Four flashes Empty ink tank Press the RESUME/CANCEL button to resume printing with an empty ink tank. Replace it with a new ink tank immediately after the printing. It may damage the printer if you continue printing with an empty ink tank. See “Replacing an Ink Tank” on page 42. Five flashes Print Head not installed/Print Head not installed correctly/Defective Print Head Install the Print Head. If the Print Head is already installed, remove the Print Head and check the electrical contacts for foreign matter, then reinstall. After reinstalling the Print Head, you may need to realign it. If this error still remains, the Print Head may be damaged. Contact the Customer Care Center. Six flashes Inner Cover is open Close the Inner Cover and press the RESUME/CANCEL button. Eight flashes Waste ink absorber almost full The printer has a built-in waste ink absorber for the ink used during Print Head Cleaning. Eight flashes indicates that the waste ink absorber is nearly full. Press the RESUME/CANCEL button to cancel the error so you can continue printing. Before the waste ink absorber becomes completely full, contact the Customer Care Center. Nine flashes A specified period of time has elapsed without receiving a response from the digital camera/The digital camera or digital video camcorder connected is not compatible with this printer
Disconnect the camera cable, press the RESUME/CANCEL button and reconnect the cable.
If the error is still unresolved, there is a possibility that you are using a digital camera or digital video camcorder that is not supported by this printer. Use a digital cameras or digital video camcorder compatible with this printer
Reload the paper correctly and press the RESUME/CANCEL button.
Three flashes: Paper jam
If paper has jammed in the printer, clear the jam, reload the paper in the printer correctly and press the RESUME/CANCEL button.

Four flashes: Empty ink tank
If you press the RESUME/CANCEL button, it will continue printing with an empty ink tank. After printing is finished, replace the ink tank immediately. If you continue printing with an empty ink tank, it may cause damage to your printer.
Refer to your Quick Start Guide for instructions on how to replace an ink tank.
Five flashes: No print head installed/Defective print head
Install the print head. Also, ensure that the protective tape has been removed.
If reinstalling the print head does not solve the problem, replace it with a new one. Contact the Customer Care Center.
Eight flashes: Waste ink tank almost full
The printer has a built-in waste ink tank for the ink used during print head cleaning. Eight flashes indicates that the waste ink tank is nearly full. Press the RESUME/CANCEL button to cancel the error so you can continue printing. Before the waste ink tank becomes completely full, contact the Customer Care Center.
Try opening the front cartridge panel, and, with the panel open, press the cancel button until all the lights start cycling up and down. While this is happening, close the front panel, then press the continue button. This should reset the error lights and you should be ready to print.
