The unit turns on, lamp function, however, when auto search for connection it does not find video connection. I tried both analog and digital ports. I did noticed that there are only two options available when ''menu'' is pressed.

In the menu option, under signal source , select option manual(deactivate auto search) & then connect inputs & try selecting each source from the remote If this does not work then the main board is at fault

You must reset the lamp timer after you replace the lamp before the unit will turn on. Do this:
Power on the unit. On the projector's keypad, hold down the the two volume keys simultaneously for 10 seconds. At that point the LED will turn green. Now you can turn on the unit again and it should work.
it is the power supply/ballast. when you first turn it on, the caps on the ps/bal charge then discharge when the lamp is to strike. if the caps are dried out (from excessive heat), it takes a while to build a charge. so the power drain from striking the lamp brings the ps/bal into shutdown. after you try again, the caps are now up to full power and everything is fine. but every time you unplug it, you'll have the same problem. replace the power supply and ballast.
