Help it wont work re: no function

when my toshiba gigabeat is turned on it tells me to connect it to a pc, when i do this it then says "update or restore portable media center using pc application"
how do i do this?

I have the same problem

I know someone who can solve this problem

You use the software that came with it, the gigaroom. If you don't know how. go to this website http://www.giga-style.com/

its the website of the gigabeat. in the ssupport section you can download the manual.
