Which page doesn't stay up?, your internet Home page in your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox)?, your desktop?, your website?

If it's your internet home page, go online and navigate to your home page, once there, on your tool bar select "internet options". Under "home page", select "use current", then click apply and ok. Close your browser and the next time you open it it will go to your home page. If that doesn't work you may have a virus, in which case you can run AVG (free) antivirus or Superantispyware (free) version.

Help: trouble shooting If nothing else has fixed your problem, you could try these general solutions.

Clear your cache Clear your browser's cache (the temporary files your browser stores to make sites load faster). Sometimes an old or incompatible file may be stored in your browser's cache. If you clear the cache new files will be downloaded the next time you visit the page.

How do i set up repeat screen, like email address, on screen ?

if you are trying to save your webpages to always open to the same email that you need, I would suggest that you use the bookmarks. you can save that page to bookmark by either clicking on the star that is located in the top right hand corner of the web page or by clicking CTRL + D. This will save it to your bookmark bar. I would not recommend trying to save passwords or staying logged into your email. This can lead to someone hacking your email easily.

I set date & time on my acer aspire, but it will not stay set it just stays on the date & time ive set. help! fred.

Welcome to FixYa!

-try doing these steps.
1) Enter the CMOS setup
-to enter the CMOS or BIOS setup, shutdown the computer completely -then once you press the power button to turn it on, keep on tapping on F2. (for some computer its F1, del, F10)
2)In the main or system setup screen you should be able to see the date and time. Using your arrow keys, navigate to the date and change the date. Once highlighted on the month, day, or year, press your arrow keys or your page up / page down keys to change the date.
These steps may vary for your BIOS; additional help, information, and simulations can be found on the BIOS help page.
3)after you have configured the time and date, save your settings and exit.
4)if it still would'nt hold the time you have setup, it could be a possible virus issue, or the CMOS battery on your computer could be degraded.
Hope this steps would help!
Have a great day!

How to write vertically in microsoft word

Do this:

1.Select the text you want in Landscape orientation.
2.Click the Page Layout tab on the Ribbon.
3.Click the arrow in the lower right corner of the Page Setup group.
4. In the Apply To list box, select Selected Text or, if you want the entire document, select Whole Document.
5.Click OK.

Or, if you don't want all the text on the page turned, do this:

1. Insert a table with enough columns to enable you to isolate your vertical text in its own column.
2. Put the text in that column.
3. Right-click in that column and select Text Direction.

Now you can turn that text while the rest of the page stays horizontal. You can turn off the table cell borders so they don't print and no one will know the difference.

Hope that helps.

...the facebook in our school

Hi. If Facebook has been blocked by the school trying to access it now would probably get you into trouble, so I would advise against it. Instead, propose to your teachers that the school start a Facebook page, perhaps as a way for the school to stay in touch with parents?

This way it becomes offcial policy to use Facebook at school which forces the teachers to re-examine student access and you could even volunteer to help update the Facebook page for the school which would give you access...

Good Luck.

Can't access new Olympus Master files.

Sounds to me that it's related to your photo editing software (Olympus OEM?). You can uninstall and re install, and/or update the software installation you have now first.
More detailed info., like what OS, type, brand, and version of the application you are having this problem with?
