try taking out the battery (if it has a removable one), then put it back in and turn on the phone. if that doesn't solve the problem, describe what you're doing at the times it goes off by itself - are you using the phone at the time or is it just sitting idle, is the battery fully charged or low, etc.?
Try get another battery, it could be that the present battery you are using is malfunctioning, it could be bad and that could be the reason why it is shutting off and on, first, replace the battery to check the performance.
Sir, the problem may be in firmware. I suggest that you reformat it first. But after reformatting it and the problem is still there, the problem must be the hardware itself. To remedy that, you must replace each and every parts that you think has the problem like for instance the connector in the phone where you plug in the charger.
What I would do is turn it off completelly for a few minutes. take out the battery and let it cool down for a few minutes. If you have a battery that if fully charged put it back in and turn on your phone. if your battery is not totally charged, charge it. A phone whose battery is not fully charged may cause your phone to flip out. sometimes it's also water damage to the phone that causes it to turn off on its own.
Water damage happends from body heat, from taking it to the bathroom when you're in the shower, or from putting it directly in water.
I SOLVED THIS PROBLEM BY TURNING OFF THE PHONE AND THEN REMOVING THE BATTERY. I THEN RE-INSTALLED BATTERY AND TURNED THE PHONE BACK ON WHICH THEN RESET THE PHONE FUNCTIONS. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP PHONE BATTERY FULLY CHARGED.
