PowerDVD 7.3 closes when trying to play a DVD

This version of PowerDVD was packaged with my new LG Blueray & HD (GGC-H20L) DVD drive. 1st, before updating PowerDVD, I would get an error message pointing to a text file located in the hidden Temp folder. I deleted the items in the Temp folder and rebooted and launch PowerDVD again. The problem still exists. I have updated PowerDVD and my new DVD drive firmware. I also have uninstalled, reinstalled and clean the registry of PowerDVD entries. The problem still occurs. Note: I can play the same DVD in Windows Media Player without any problems.
