Question about Vizio L30WGU 30 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
I recently received a Vizio 42” flat-panel 1080p Full HDMI set. The image with my HDMI cable is great, but almost always the screen shows about 4” from the right side a thin red & green vertical stripe from top to bottom and 2 gray horizontal stripes near the top of the screen (see attached photos). I’ve tried varying all the Menu options, but the lines remain. Please advise me what to do to remove this lines. Thank you.

This is common and very likely the LCD panel has lost its connection at those points around the panel. Most repair shops don't even try to fix it as it is a huge pain to try. You should be able to get a warranty replacement if it is new.
