I have a Toyota Tundra. My Koolatron plugs into the cigar lighter but why doesn't it work?

There are any number of variations on the basic plug. Some fit; some do not. You have to decide whether to replace the plug on your Koolatron cooler or the cigar lighter socket in your Tundra. It is possible to purchase aftermarket plug and socket combinations that will resolve both issues.

Replacement Fuse, or Circuit Board

there are a number of repair videos on you tube. Most systems will have a fuse, probably on control board. However, they don't normally fail unless there is another issue like a bad power supply.

Koolatron Mini Fridge Overheating

Check the condensor fan behind the fridge which is designed to cool the compressor/gas line by blowing air over the condensor. When this fan motor seizes or stops running, the gas gets very hot and because it is skin cooled too, the outside of the fridge also gets very hot. You can overcome the problem temporarily by putting a standing fan behind the fridge, blowing onto the compressor and under the fridge untill you can have the problem rectified.
