Hi I have asus taichi-cx020p 13.1", there is 4G RAM onborad, how can i increase RAM to 8G?

Charlie , you'll most likely only to see a single RAM slot but If there's a single RAM slot, that's fine. Just discard the 4GB for an 8GB.

Hello
You can upgrade the operating system but you can not upgrade the RAM.To upgrade the operating system, visit your phone website and download the latest firmware for your phone,

Save it on your system, connect your phone to your system, once your system recognizes your phone, click on the downloaded firmware and send it to your phone. This automatically upgrades the Operating System.

Upgrading Ram

Hi,

Make sure you have the RAM seated in slot #1, and that you do not have DDR RAM installed as well, as DDR2 with DDR RAM will not work. Also, make sure the RAM you bought is on the QVL (Qualified Vendors List) for that motherboard. I know I have had problems with ASUS motherboards and OCZ ram before.

Asus M2N-MX Motherboard 4gb Ram wont work

I had the same problem and ASUS tech support was of no help. I did however find the culpret in the BIOS setup. Go to Advanced, Chipset, NorthBridge Chipset, and Memory Configuration. Set the Bank Interleaving to Disabled and save the settings. Check these settings also while you are there:
Channel Interleaving = Auto
Enable clock to all DIMMS = Disabled
Memory Tristate = Disabled
Memory Hole = Enabled
Unganged Mode = Enabled
Power Down Enable = Enabled
Power Down Mode = Channel
