Question about Whirlpool LEQ9858P Electric Dryer
Seems not to dry as well, have to run 2-3 cycles to dry clothes and makes a shriel noise when running.
I had a dryer that did this as well. I ignored it until it finally stopped running at all. Turned out the barrings that hold the drum up had warn out and there were metal filings all over the back of the dryer as well as a burn spot from all the friction.
Sadly I had to purchase a new dryer, however, you might be able to replace the barrings, but they look like it will take a repair man to do it as they are in a very hard to reach area. It might cost just as much to purchase a new dryer.
