The power supply should have been a 9VDC unit.
The barrel plug center is positive and I would recommend a minimum output of 500mA

What are the voltage and current requirements for the power supply for an Airnet (AES205P) 5-Port Ethernet Switch

powersupply should be +5VDC/2.5A The cost of this power supply may not be worth the trouble since this switch is 16 years old. Newer switches are faster and have better firewall protection.

I have hub4 friend giving me hub 5 so I just change it over and that all I do

Should be just a changeover the hub is not very intelligent so there should not be too much issue. Speed of hub ports ? 10/100/1000 Mb/s
hubs basically repeat the network packets to all ports .
what feeds into the hub what speed is it at and what speeds does the hub support is the only issue you may have. Assuming you have ethernet hubs.
MUST use 5 hubs power supply AC to DC adapter with the 5 hub device.
do not just pull power plug out of 4 hub and put it in 5 hub device unless you know they are compatible with same DC voltage and current rating it is much simpler not to mix them up.

No, Really. I have 16 ports. And two labeled expansion in/out. Really where does the net in cable go?

The Expansion IN port. The OUT port is for adding another hub. The key word being stackable, in case you need more than 16 ports. Hope this clears thing up.

Which port to place network in put

If it is a hub then you can plug any device into any port. It doesn't matter which. All a hub does is broadcast data received on anymore out all the other ports at half duplex speeds. I'd recommend getting a switch instead. Same price and they don't suffer from all weaknesses a hub has.

Hello the power supply on the hub has died, what are the output voltages and the pin arrangements on the hub? for the PSU.

The voltage and current ratings should be stamped next to the power jack on the switch. They can be difficult to read so a light and magnifying glass can be helpful.

Power supply for Targus 4 hub usb 2

Most USB hubs do not need an external power supply, except when a connected USB device draws more power than the computer/laptop USB port can supply. In this case an external power supply will need to be connected to the USB hub.
Normally this would be a 5 volt power supply, but make sure the polarity on the connector matches the power connector on the hub, check the label on the hub, sometimes it states to power requirements of the hub as well as the polarity on the connector. Normally the pin on the hub's power connector is positive (ie. +5V)
