Here are the files youll need, http://startcopy.ru/repair/files/sams48xx.htm
Download file #5, unrar it, in the folder updfix place the content of file #2, run fix4828 and then run downl4828. After that the grren light will turn on.
It worked for me

Scx 3200 samsung status light

If you refiil the toner cartridge ,now must be change the cartridge chip.The chip countered the total copy,not how many time you refill the toner.The original chip working 1500 copies,change one new chip to 1,5K or 3 k or moreK(K=1000 copies).

Error light is red, and nothing prints

i think your paper sensor is damaged, replace it

red light show : when paper is not present or toner is not accepted, or door open

We have Zero cost solution for samsung -scx-4300, scx-4824/4828

It means you have to reset your printer

no there is no solution to short pin, it has software solution to reset printer.

We have Zero cost solution for samsung -scx-4300, ml-2240,ML
2245, ml 1640. clp 310/ 315, It is working permenently.
Refill cartridge is working for ever. which is running successfully.

The ML2851DN cycles on but then has a red light that stays on.

The red light stays on until paper is loaded, and also if there's a problem with the fuser not heating, or toner is empty.

The red light is flashing and I can't resolve it. The printer is still functional, but I noticed that the paper is coming out very very hot.

go to samsung website and see if they have smartpanel for this printer,download to pc and run,will solve your problem

I have a samsung ml 2851 nd that won't print, and says the toner cartridge is low - I replaced with cartridge 209 (which office max said would work) and it still flashes the red light and says there is...

The counter needs to be reset most likely. I can\t locate a reset code & steps for you. Try calling samsung and ask about the toner reset you replaced the cartridge and its still showing the count from the old cartridge.
