Hello, Is the memory card formatted by the camera ? Is the slide on the card set to protect ? Have you tried a different card ?

First, make sure that the new memory card does not have the protect tab in the lock position. The new card must be unlocked and formatted before your camera will be able to use it. Also, make sure that the size card that you have purchased has not over shot the ability of your camera. I think that a 2 GB card is as large as you can use. Just because the card fits into the slot does not mean that the camera will address it!

SOURCE: every time i turn on
remove the batteries and the card and insert them again ..If you have access in the menu ..perform a general reset to the factory settings ..or look for a reset hidden button if it has..
The thing to do is to format the card again using storage feature in the camera (choose card and under the options ..format )
be sure that you saved all files from the card ..cause formatting it will erase anything that might contain ..
If after reset and format still do not want to work proper..than the issue is something related with a physical bad contact ..(humidity ..or so ) ..and try to dry it out with a hair dryer but using the cold air..
this will eliminate any humidity ..and make it worked if this is the issue..
Remove card and batteries before drying it ..and blow the air in the slots where these should fit..

DCF Full Error error message. The DCF error message with your Samsung camera nearly always occurs when you're using a memory card that was formatted with a different camera, and the file format structure is not compatible with your Samsung camera. You'll have to format the card with the Samsung camera. However, make sure you download any photos to your computer first.
