Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
I have a DeLonghi Magnifica Espresso ESAM330 machine. The power button failed and I have to replace the microswitch or the front control board. I can't get the control board out. I'm not sure if the knobs for the water level and grind pull off the front of the board or if the control panel has to be lifted off. Can't lift the control panel off because it has clear plastic clips around it that don't have any give in them. They're hard plastic and they feel like they're going to break if I push them back and then the power button, one cup, two cup, and steam button as well as the water level, grind knob all seem to be attached to the control panel. How do I get the thing out to replace it?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hello, you can buy descaling tablets at your local Starbucks. There is also a liquid descaling solution (small bottles) you can buy anywhere.
At the moment I'm using Jura brand descaling tablets I purchased at Starbucks. For instructions on how to descale (quite simple really), see here on p-17 at:
Hope this helps.

HI - i've found that part @ http://www.partstore.com/Part/De'Longhi/DeLonghi/ESAM3300/De'Longhi/DeLonghi/5532125700/New.aspx but can't figure out how to replace it myself.
Have you been able to take the coffee machine apart?

ha this is the same problem i had just last week at a customers house with the same machine , the knob does pull off but it is hellish tight and you feel like the valve is about to burst through the front of the machine but it does pull off, when fitting the new knob it is a good idea to put some grease over the shaft before pushing the new knob on as it's nearly as hard pushing the new one back on as taking the old one off.
