Re: lg prada usb error
Proceed with caution.
1. Right click "my computer"
2. Click Properties
3. Go to the device manager.
4. Find your PRADA (probably will have a yellow ? mark)
5. Uninstall it.
6. Install Drivers then re-insert the Lg Prada (will probably be on the included cd)
I took the phone back to the shop - they looked at it and realised it was faulty - kept going back to mass storage on connection to the USB. New phone is now recognised by the PC but the PC won't talk to the phone to load phone number details. Tried this on a win98SE and XP computer.

will give you the information that you need. Another owner of this phone had the same problem and they posted the way that they solved this problem. I hope that you can get it to work and please let me know if you need any additional help. Thank you and good luck.
I have posted information in 'hints and tips' regarding media files (pictures mp3s etc). The first thing to remember when sending files to your phone is that they have to be done one at a time as the phone memory is limited. The phone has a memory card inside it which is extra/external to the phone memory. What is confusing is that you cannot send files directly to this memory card so each file you send to the phone has to be moved to the 'external memory' before you send another to the phone.
when is shows usb on ,on u r handset, than it create new removeable deive on u r computer, open my comuter click on that removeable device than u can able to conn.. throw usb.///////////// or u have to instole drivers from wowlg.com
I had the same problem, and here how it worked out for me:
Make sure you fully uninstall the software. Then do the complete install. Worked fine after that for me.
P.S. 1.Do not plug the phone while installing
2.Use a good USB port. the firstUSB port that I was using was not that good I guess, because the Sync didn't find my phone, but accessing the memory through My Computer was possible. Then I just plugged to another USB port and no problems since.
To Synchronise the Phone with the PC you must go to "connectivity" and set the USB Connection on the phone to Data Service and use the LG Sync. software. To transfer files such as photos videos or music, set to -Mass storage- and use windows explorer to Drag & drop.
