Uh oh. Your hard drive is about to crash. I would back up important pictures, music, and documents as soon as possible and get your computer to someone who can image the drive to a new drive before it crashes completely.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,

Jason

What is the solution to "Exception EOleSysError module at 00058E75."

Try this:

Run a CheckDisk:
How to run Chkdsk at the command prompt

(Windows XP)
  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In Open, type cmd, and then press ENTER.
  3. Use one of the following procedures:
    • To run Chkdsk in read-only mode, at the command prompt, type chkdsk, and then press ENTER.
    • To repair errors without scanning the volume for bad sectors, at the command prompt, type chkdsk volume:/f, and then press ENTER.

Note If one or more of the files on the hard disk are open, you will receive the following message: Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)Type Y, and then press ENTER to schedule the disk check, and then restart your computer to start the disk check.
    • To repair errors, locate bad sectors, and recover readable information, at the command prompt, type chkdsk volume:/r, and then press ENTER.

      Windows Vista & Windows 7
You can launch CHKDSK using two methods (the former being the easiest):

      Graphical Interface:

Open the Computer option from the start menu, which will display all of the drives available to scan on your PC:

      108d1237820652-use-chkdsk-check-disk-chkdsk.png
Then, right click on the drive you wish to scan for errors and select Properties:

      107d1237820652-use-chkdsk-check-disk-chkdsk2.png
Now click the Tools menu, then Check Now under the error-checking section:

      106d1237820652-use-chkdsk-check-disk-chkdsk3.png
You have several options within the check disk tool. It is always recommended you leave the "automatically fix file system errors" box checked, as this repairs and problems found. If you want to perform a deeper scan, tick "scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors". This second option takes longer, but is worth doing if you suspect a drive problem. Once you are configured, click Start:

      105d1237820652-use-chkdsk-check-disk-chkdsk4.png
If you try to check a disk that is currently in use, you will receive a message asking if you wish to schedule a scan. Accepting this will perform the scan next time you restart your PC:

      104d1237820652-use-chkdsk-check-disk-chkdsk5.png

Upon connecting the samsung G2 to my laptop, it says "needs formatting" but when click the format disk option it says "disk can not be formatted'

Many errors in Windows are caused by corrupt files. Those files could have become corrupt because of errors on your hard drive. The Check Disk tool checks for errors and attempts to fix any it finds.
Warning: Use Check Disk at your own risk. On rare occasions I've experienced problems when using check disk in Windows Vista. Here are a few things to watch out for:
If you run check disk and your computer has to be restarted to scan your computer and your computer hangs at a black screen when it boots up, do the following: Turn the computer off and back on and immediately start pressing F8 on your keyboard repeatedly. A black screen with different boot options will appear. Select to use the Last known good configuration (advanced) boot option.
Never stop check disk once it has started. It could take hours to days to scan your hard drive depending on its size. How-to Use Check Disk Using the Graphical User Interface (GUI)
Open the Start Menu and click Computer. Right-click the drive you want to perform a check disk on and select Properties. Click the Tools tab in the drive Properties window.

Click Check Now under error checking. To perform a complete check of your hard drive for errors check off both options in the check disk window that pops up.

Click the Start button to start the process. If you are trying to check a hard drive that has open files you'll get a message similar to the one shown below.

Click Schedule disk check. Disk check can't check a hard drive that has open files. Your computer will reboot and check the disk before Windows Vista boots up. If you want to cancel the scheduled disk check for any reason, check out this guide.
Using the Command Line Interface
Check Disk can also be run using the command line (DOS) prompt.
Open the command prompt with administrative privileges by typing cmd in the search box in the Start Menu and right-click cmd.exe in the search results and then select Run as Administrator. Type chkdsk followed by one or a combination of switches listed below in the command prompt. If you run the check disk (chkdsk) command from the command prompt by typing just chkdsk check disk will run in read only mode. All it does is check for errors. It will not fix any errors it finds unless told to do so. This is done by adding switches when typing chkdsk in the command prompt.
A switch looks something like chkdsk /F. Notice the switch /F after the chkdsk command.
Below is a list of most of the switches used with the check disk command. You can use one or a combination of switches with the check disk command.
D: If you want check disk to scan a drive other than the C: drive, add the drive letter after chkdsk to tell it to scan that drive. If the drive is called X: on your computer it would look like chkdsk X:.
/F: The /F switch is the most common of the chkdsk switches. It tells chkdsk to fix any errors it finds. Chkdsk can't fix errors on a disk that has open files. If chkdsk asks you if you want to check the drive next time Windows Vista boots or dismount the drive choose to check the drive next time Windows Vista boots. Never choose to dismount the drive. That option should only be used by a professional.
/R: The /R switch tells chkdsk to attempt to recover any bad sectors of the hard drive if any are found. A bad sector is a spot on the hard drive that can't hold saved data anymore.
/I: The /I switch tells chkdsk to perform a less detailed but faster disk check.
/C: The /C switch tells chkdsk to skip the checking of cycles within a folder structure which reduces the scan time. Don't ask me what this means.
An example of an exhaustive disk check using the command line interface is:
chkdsk D: /F /R
The check disk command shown above will fix any errors it finds and also attempt to recover bad sectors of the D: drive if any are found.
If all else fails, try 3rd party tool SpinRite.

Run a check disk on the Drive and select Fix bad sectors.

Running CHKDSK through the Windows Command Prompt:
  1. Go to the Windows Command Prompt. You can do this by clicking first the Start button and then clicking the Run button. After this, type "cmd" in the Open text box and press Enter.

  2. View the displayed Command Prompt screen.
If you want CHKDSK to run in read-only mode, type:
    CHKDSK c:
If you want CHKDSK to fix errors and not to check bad sectors, type:
    CHKDSK c:/f
and press Enter in the Command Prompt.
If you want CHKDSK to run thoroughly; that is, fix errors, find bad sectors in your hard drive and recuperate still readable data, type:
    CHKDSK c:/r or
CHKDSK c:/p and press Enter in the Command Prompt.

  3. Running CHKDSK through My Computer (Windows XP)
  4. 1

Initialize the properties of the hard drive you want CHKDSK to run. Open My Computer. Right click your mouse on the drive in which you want CHKDSK to run. Click the Properties button and click the Tools tab. In the Error-checking box, click the Check Now button.

  5. 2

Set up the Check Disk options by checking one or both check boxes displayed. These are labeled "automatically fix file system errors" and "scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors". If you want CHKDSK to run in read-only mode, do not check either box. After this, click the Start button.

Have you tryed chkdsk in the command prompt, goto command prompt and type CHKDSK F: /F and press enter, this is a tool that checks your drives for any errors and hopfully should resolve any problems, rather than formating it and loosing everything on the drive.
Also have you tryed setting up the usb for mass storage in the bios somtimes there is a setting for this in the bios, or try setiing it back to factory defaults and see if that works.
The only other option would be to update your usb 2.0 driver in device manager in the properties of my computer icon on the desktop. hope this helps in some way and post back what happens.

Hi there

I give you some steps for repair hard drives please follow all the steps very carefully :

Check disk

REPAIR Hard drive - THROUGH CHEKDISK command.
------------------------------------------------------
Step One: Open "My Computer", RIGHT click on the C drive icon, choose "Properties".

Step Two: When that loads, click on the "Tools" tab, then click on the "Check Now" button in the "Error

Checking" section.

Step Three: When that little window loads, place a CHECK in BOTH boxes, then click on "Start Now".

Step Four: A message will pop up saying that Error Checking will run after you restart the computer, so......Restart the computer. Error Checking will run automatically after the restart and it locks you out from doing anything until it's finished. It takes a little time to perform the task but after it's finished, it will restart into Windows automatically.

De fragment

Click on start >> Programms >>accessories >> System tools >> Defrag

Defrag your hard drive >> This may take some time.

After this system would be slow for couple of hours and then would be efficient.

please open your antivirus and do a complete scan and fix the errors.

Pls rate this solution according to its use in you. it will be much appreciated........

Thanks
