Is this a new installation? Is this a remote starter?
If you have an alarm with a starter inhibit installed and, after disarming the system the car doesn't start, there are several steps to take to ascertain the problem.
Begin by using a voltmeter or, low voltage testlight and test the starter wire at the ignition switch. Turn the key to start and test for voltage. If you do not have 12 volts on the starter wire at the ignition switch when turning the key to start, you either have no power (battery or fuse) in the vehicle or, your ignition switch is bad.
If you have 12 volts at the switch, move your test light to the other side of the starter kill and test for 12 volts. If there is no starter kill, move your tester to the starter relay under the hood. If there is no power coming from the relay, you have found your problem. If you have power coming from the relay to the starter then test the starter when turning the key. If you have power at the starter when turning the key you have found you problem. If you have no power going to the starter when turning the key then there is break in the line.

SOURCE: I have a aftermarket alarm that trips 60 sec after armed.

if im not mistaken it does that because your interior lights dont turn off as soon as you close the door.. it delays a lil bit, and when you set your alarm it detects that the door is being opened. try arming your alarm after the lights have turned off and if that solved it you can take your vehicle to an alarm place for them to program your alarm to learn that function..
either that or maybe your door trigger wire is tapped to the wrong wire on the car...

Wire spliced and now alarm wont let car start.

You will need to diode isolate the wiring that was spliced. It is backfeeding into the starter diasable circuit, and causing the vehicle not to start.

How do you know the fuel pump is good? And I would not keep using starting fluid to try and start the vehicle. Did you check fuel pressure? Did you try to dump a little fuel down the carb then try starting?
