Rock stuck between drum and housing

A small rock is stuck between the rotating drum and the housing so the drum catches and sticks. It fit into the space, but is too big to extract.

I bet its a real pain in the but. If yours is like most front loaders it will end up in the pump. Then you can remove it with alot less of a headache.

I have LG 6kg WP9032 machine. When i operate drier a peculiar sound is coming. Looks like something is stuck underneath the drier. How

Stuck under where ??? Between the drum and the housing inside ? Many times underwires from bras that come loose will get caught between the drum and make a squealing/squeaky noise.. look inside along the edges of the drum and see if you can see anything unusual sticking out..sometimes rotating the drum manually helps find it.

Mitsubishi colt 2009 rear drum brakes are stuck

Make sure emergency brake is off first, put the back of car on jack stands, use a brake adjustment tool the turn the star adjuster with a small diameter screwdriver pushing the star rotation catch away from the star adjuster and loosen the adjuster up. You'll find said adjuster behind a rubber plug in a slot near the bottom of backing plate.

Affinity dryer less than 2 yrs. old will not turn. It hums, but the drum will not turn.

Please check if there's something stuck outside the rotating drum. Sometimes small cloth escapes out of the drum during drying and gets stuck in the rotating shaft. Just try to reach the back side fo the rotating drum inside and make sure that there's no cloth that's stucked inside. Please make sure that you unplug the cord first.
If in case that you did not find anything, you may have a busted capacitor or worse, the motor is defective. It could be that the motor windings are shorted or a bad bushing.
Hope this helps.

I have a 2004 chevy aveo. the rear driver side brake is locked. can not turn tire. how can I get the drum off. am having a lot of problems

you are going to have to access the hole in the back of the hub with a screwdriver and back off the self adjuster.

The inside of the drum looks like the below pic. The adjuster is the long horizontal cylinder above the axle. It has a gear on it. Stick your screwdriver in and turn the gear until the drum loosens.

I own a SERVIS CARESS 1600 A waching machine and I think something might be stuck between the drum and the drum housing. There is a scraping noise as the drum rotates as if it is knocking against...

the only way in is not easy, there is a possibility that the heating element is touching the drum you would have to remove the back panel take off all connections to the drum at the rear and remember or write down a diagram so you know where things went in other words take the whole machine apart to remove the rear drum panel another way is to rotate the drum with a small screwdriver through one of the drum holes till you feel the element and push the element back down out of harms way sorry I cant help more but its worth a try eric

When hooking my new vrod battery up i can hear the starter spinning when i try to attach the ground...what am i doing wrong

When you discovered your battery was kaput, you were probably trying to start your bike at the time. I have seen on rare occasions that when this happens, the starter solenoid gets "stuck" in the "engaged" positon. Try rocking your bike backwards and forwards a few times with the transmission in high gear. Rock the bike while shifting the tranny until you get it into high gear. The with the clutch out, rock the bike and turn the engine over a few times. Shift the bike back down to neutral and try to connect the battery. Rocking the bike while in gear rotates the outer clutch drum. If the starter jack shaft is still engaged with the ring gear on the outer clutch drum, rocking the bike a bit will turn the drum allowing the spring in the starter to pull the jack shaft and starter gear back out of engagement. I hope this helps.

LG Tromm dryer has a crack in the drum. Can this be self repaired and if so how?

I'm a mechanical engineer and improvised a repair as follows: rotated drum so that the weld crack was not displaced; roughened surfaces and fitted a small Stanley steel mending plate across crack (shaped plate to match inside drum surface); used PC brand "Fahrenheit" high-temp epoxy putty to bed the plate in place; covered the repair with another thin epoxy layer to provide a smooth surface which would not catch on clothes; further smoothed repair with quick wipe of solvent; most likely a temp fix but working well so far (1 month).
