It is frustrating to imigrate from a country with DVD area code 4 to another country with DVD area code 1 and find that you cannot play your old DVDs.
I made a quick search and found out that the player Toshiba BDX2250 bought in Canada would play my region 4 DVDs. It played some, indeed, but now that I am not being able to play more and more discs I believe that the ones which played were in fact not coded.
Software version of my player is BDX2150KC/2250KC Ver. 1.15
It would be great to find a way to make this player area code free so that I could play my DVDs both from region 1 and region 4. Anyone knows if this is possible and if it is possible what is the procedure to make it?
