X7 Jura (Cafe Swiss) Refuses to start cleaning program

Hi, After seeing my de-scale message I decided to run the program, but alas no joy.. When I try and choose the De-scale function it just beeps and wont proceed. I have tried the entire clean program, exact same problem. I have tried the coffee clean program, exact same problem. However the cappuccino program will run. I have turned the machine off at the socket and tried again, still no joy. Any ideas ??

Doh......With display prompt: If SELECT PRODUCT / MACHINE CALCIFIED appears in the display, switch your machine off. Open the cover of the programming keys at the top right and hold the Descaling button down until an auditory signal is heard. If only two short auditory signals are heard, the machine is still switched on.

SOURCE: Jura Capresso C3000 keeps saying clean unit

We have the S8 here at our office. Ran the cleaning cycle and "Clean Now" message was still on and beeping afterwards. Read the Feb 28 comment and carefully cleaned everything that had grounds stuck to it. Ran the cycle again and it worked. Thanks all.

My jura X7 system is rinsing with milk. When pressing the rinse button, the machine is drawing milk to rinse instead of water??

The milk tubes should be submersed into water with a milk cleaning agent. sounds like you've left the milk tubes drawing from the fridge with milk in it.

Jura impressa x7 does not rinse and coffee does not come out. I do get steam for froth etc

Jura x7 coffee machines are older models in the coffee machine range. It may simply require a full system clean, using jura cleaning tablets, or more likely a service. Bean to cup machines should really be serviced every year to 18 months depending on usage.

Where do you put the calc pill?...how does it open? what are those long white pieces that come in a package about 6-7 inches? and with them, a box with something 'poison' on it? IT NEEDS TO BE...

The long white piece is a water filter. It filters calc (lime) out of the water. It should fit in the water container at the back. Just click it in.

The cleaning pills are not for de-scaling. You should run the cleaning program. To do this open the small lid at the top of the machine, press the P-button until the screen changes (a few seconds). Turn the dial until service is in the screen push the dial and turn until cleaning appears. Push the dial button again. The pill should be put in the coffee powder entrance. If you start the cleaning program it will state when you should do that.

Cleaning instructions for jura E8

I am not sure if you are referring to the standard clean that the E8 requests. If that is the case the instruction are to press the rinse button for 5 seconds, until it asks you to remove the tray, then follow the instruction on the screen (they are normally, rinse, rinse, add tablet (should be Jura one) - add to powder shoot, then the process runs through.
If you are talking about de-scale then you should us the Jura de-scale tablets, but vinegar and biccarb can also do the trick.

Where do you put the cleaning tablets in a jura impressa x7-s?

add a capfull of the cleaning fluid to a litre of water, insert milk tube and request cappuccino clean from the cleaning button...icon of cleaning tablet surrounded by water droplets, second row second button from lefthand side...then follow screen instructions to step your way through the cleaning selections with +and - buttons.
I keep the cleaning fluid held high to allow it to continue running after the cleaning action.
Remember to run clean water through the pipes using the same method above.

Google x7 manual and you can download one of many copies online.
