E000100-0001 is a secondary code to the initial problem. It means verbatum " The power has been turned off and back on again without resetting the error ". So, there was a previous error code that instructed the customer to turn off the main power and turn it back on in an effort to reset the code. Unfortunately this must have been an error code regarding the fusing system. Canon designed the copier to prompt the customer to power the copier off and back on for all error codes, and more often than not the copier can recover to some degree or another. Fuser codes on the other hand WILL NOT reset even though the display says to power off/on . You will need to go into service mode to reset the error. Press "additional functions"......then the numbers 2 and 8 at the same time and then additional functions again. If you have followed these steps properly you will now be in service mode and a different screen. Just follow these instructions. Press copier. Press functions.Press clear.Press err.Press ok. Power off and on . This WILL clear the code. However, if the problem still exists the code will return of course. THAT code is the one we need to troubleshoot! :-)

there is a toner feed motor over currente detection error, there is a toner botle motor connection detection error.
1- check the connector for any fault in connection.

The waste toner bottle should be on the right side of the copier toward the rear of the copier. It is behind a pannel that is held in with 2 screws. Take the screw out & open the pannel & the bottel should be inside that opening it is a milky white container. Pull it out, it is rather large. When you dump out the toner make sure you have a plastic bag with No holes in it, it can be very messy if you are not carefull......Good Luck

there is a possiblitly that you can clear the passwords for the copier in service mode..... but weather it will remove the password for a mail box or not i can not say.
what you need to do to get into service mode is
hit the additional functions button....
then the 2&8 at the same time .
then the additional functions button again
this should bring up service mode
now you push the copier tab
then functions tab
then the clear tab
under the clear tab you will pwd clr try hitting it and click ok
hopefully that will clear the passwords but i can't make any promise's if it works for the address book
