problem could be door seals not sealing completely and hence excessive ice formed on evaporator and excess water when it melts. however, i have found this problem many times with large larder fridges and really found no cure.
towards the bottom of the back wall, there is a gulley with a drain hole in the middle. this drain is blocked. clear it with something flexible and make sure water flows away freely

Water from the melted evaporator frost is normally drained down to a pan mounted on the compressor . The heat from the compressor is normally enough to vaporize this water. Sometimes the evaporation may be reduced due to- high humidity (in the kitchen). Try keeping the exhaust fan on for a while. Also check if the drain line is blocked or shifted out of the drain pan.

There is a drain hole in the back of the freezer on the bottom. Get back there with some hot water. Most of the time it is just lime build up. Unless you know what feel back there. Another way is to move the freezer out and from the back side you can see the drain line. It just pulls right off

If it's flooding, it's NOT the drain pan. It's probably the water valve has gotten stuck in the open position. Hope this helps!

The start device on some models of refridgerator for maytag and whirlpool have been recalled. If your appliance was manufactured in the last 5-10 years you may be having an issue with this component. Mine recently caught on fire at this device that is located near the compressor. If you would like to be a part of the petition for a recall on this appliance contact me at email@example.com
