Issues like this could well be a ignition unit breaking down when it gets hot.

SOURCE: echo pb 200 leaf blower want start

Turn on ignition switch, Choke, prime bulb 5 times (or until fuel flows), hold throttle down and pull starter cord sharply until it tries to start, then place choke in mid position pull cord sharply again until it runs then move choke to off when it will allow it.
Also you can go to toro.com then customer care, then manuals and parts then type in model no. and download an owners manual.

How do i adjust the carb on an echo blower

Not sure what carb you have..You should be able to see a spring loaded air/gas adjustment screw on the carb..once running turn clockwise until motor starts bogging down then the other way until it does the same..keep adjusting back and forth unti it runs smooth..
you may have another on the bottom of the carb bowel..do the same with it...if this doesn't work needs a rebuild kit..good luck..

Echo pb-620st will not crank

Simply use a srewdriver to adjust the mixture screw. Its located on the carburator. Clockwise is lean, counterclockwise is rich. If you can get the thing to idle, let it warm up first. Adjust the mixture lean until it just starts to sputter, then adjust it rich 1/2 turn. Test full throttle, if it sputters, you can adjust the mixture a little more rich so that it runs good at full throttle.

I would suggest steering away from investing in 2 cycle engines for a pawn shop, unless you can see them running. These little engines are very picky and they only run well if they are in good shape. If you cant get them to start easily, there is probably a lot of internal wear/damage and these engines are hard to find parts and are not cheap to fix.

Bad investments would include 2 cycle leaf blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, boat motors, and motorcycles that do not start easily. Believe me, they are a headache to fix.

It quit running after it a had been running for 10 min.It will not start again

You will have to check for fuel and spark to the engine. By process of evaluation, you may come to the reason for this failure. Engines need 4 things to operate properly;
1. Good compression (engine not worn out or scored)
2. Good strong spark
3. Clean, fresh fuel mixed right and introduced to the engine correctly.
4. Clean air supply
These things may sound elementary and they are but these machines are very temperamental and if one of the 4 above things is off....performance will suffer or you will get the dreaded no-start condition.

I have an echo gas powered leaf blower, model pb251. it will start and idol, but wont run any faster than that, and throttle cable seems to be ok.

I just fixed my Echo PB 2100 with the same issue. It would start, run, all throttle openings OK but would not rev-up. It was a dirty/clogged screen on the muffler. Scraped the thick tar off then used Lacquer Thinner to soak it clean. Blower works better than ever now....
