When I start the print job it seems to work, however it only prints a concentrated section of black lines. The paper feed function works fine. It will feed right up to the next segment as it is supposed to, however when printing it does not work properly. Please help, thanks, Tim

Is that true for both print and copy job ?
Where does the jam happen ?
I am thinking if it is at the paper pickup roller area just as the job starts to print and not midway while printing, check the paper quality; dirty pickup roller; clean cork pad and try job from another tray
-Using the wrong printer driver.
-The machine does not have the proper printer kit installed (e.g.
UFR, PCL, PS kit(s)).
-The print job did not print because due to lack of
resources on the printer (e.g. memory, HD space, etc).
-Print spooler on the machine is full.
-The number of secure print jobs have exceeded the
maximum limit that can be reserved at this time.
-Make sure that the printer driver that you're using is the correct
one for the operating system on the computer that you are
printing from and specific to the printer model that you're printing
-Check and verify that the correct and the required printer kit is
Installed (e.g. UFR, PCL, PS kit(s)).
-Reduce the number of pages to print.
-Erase unnecessary jobs that are stuck or in reserve.
-Turn off spooler on the printer, ADDITIONAL FUNCTION >
SYSTEM SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS > USER
SPOOLER, set this value to OFF.
-Print out or erase secured print jobs that are stored or waiting to
be printed on the machine.
printers do not like being left unused for long periods. Some of the color print head may
be blocked. Try several deep cleaning of the print head to see if it can clear
the blocked print nozzles. If none of this works then the print head needs to
be replaced. A new cartridge will not solve this
problem. NOTE the print head is not a cheap item,
you may consider putting the money towards a new and better
When you start to print out a job or document, the job starts with the print box. Your default printer will appear in the drop-down box. To the right of that box is the properties box, open it with a click. The top tab marked COLOR is selected and you want to select the block, "print in grey scale only". When you start to print another job, the greyscale will have to be set again and again. Some printers will let you remove the color Cartridge and print only in B&W, but not many. (some HP's)
sounds like you have the printer driver set to the wrong paper size
unfortunately some of these drivers disregard the settings you do in windows and so you need to set it twice , once in the windows printer dialog and second in the configuration wizard of the driver
Sounds like the configured paper sized does not match the actual paper page height. So that when it does Top Of Form paper movement the paper stops slightly too low. Doing several form feeds should confirm this. If this is it then reconfigure the paper size to match the paper. Also measure to paper to see if it matches what you want it to be.
