Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1: Windows
Display suddenly shrunk to 4/5th of screen width (1/4 of the screen at right is just a black band. Display also has a black band at the bottom (around 1 cm). The display used to be full screen until I turned the laptop on a week ago. Since then display is like this. On some programs like Solitaire, there is a promt saying that the hardware acceleration is off or is not supported by my video card driver... need lastest video card driver and accelerator is on. My video card is up to date.
Go to the display options in Vista. Redefine the image settings and see if that solves the problem.
