Could be the high temperature cutout or the heating element itself sounds like you need a repairman if you are not use to using a multimeter to identify the problem, or know what to do to jumper a switch to see if it is the problem be careful with electricity.

You shouldn't add refrigerant if you don't know how much is in the system , too much is just as bad as not enough . The system operates on a certain amount . And you should take it to a qualified repair shop .

99 s40 volvo air con fully replaced but still not blowing cold air

Your compressor may not be engaging, could be activation switch, a relay or the compressor itself if you do not hear it engage when activating A/C.

I am having problem with the A/C on my 2000 BMW 323i. I just Changed the Compressor, Drier, Expansion valve. In march I changed all the lines high/low pressure lines and also changed the Drier as well....

The pressure sw. on the dryer maybe weak but the way you explain it I think the sys is low on Freon. The reason for this is you said it did not get that cold. I would add a half can or one to the sys and see if the compressor cycles longer. Hope this helps.

Warm air blowing from A/C

you need to install gauges and check ac pressures. if pressures are equalized then you have a bad compressor. a simple test is to make sure compressor is running and check to see if the drier is cold, it should be very cold and sweating.

Hey I am haveing a problem with My 2500HD ac system. I have changed The Condensor, evaporator, and the Compressor. I have charged it to the correct levels. It blows cool air, but it doesn't get cold....

Did you change the Receiver/ Drier and the Orfice Tube/ Expansion Valve? The Receiver/ Drier takes moisture out of the system and the Orfice Tube/ Expansion Valve controls the Hot/ Cold air. If that is bad it may not be opening or closing fully which would not let your A/C get as cool as it supposed to.

I have a 2003 elentra. The air conditioner blows cold for 10 min. then goes warm. If you let it rest, it then blows cold again. What is the problem. I want to take it somewhere but people are not honest...

The problem is either choke up of refrigerant circuit or choke up of condenser coil.If the condensor coil is choked up clean it with air blower or water pump.Make sure that the condensor fan motor is working. If the problem persists, clean the filter drier of the refrigerant circuit, flush the system, evacuate and gas charge.

Changed compressor in my 1999 Dodge durango..doesn't blow cold

if there is a sight glass fitted check for bubbles that means it needs more freon or air is in the system or wrong expansion valve which sometimes can be adjusted, check fans if running well

My aircontioning system is not blowing cold air.

If you are not low, and the compressor is working, you most likely have a blend door issue. The filter will look like a little canister, called either the receiver/drier, or the accumulator.

AC problem

is the compressor turning on? when you turn thwe a/c? on,
and also locate the low side line on engine compartment and feel if is cold, if it is, then your blend door system is not working,
the blend door does control the cold and hot air coming to engine.
