Fridgerator no longer cooling

The fridgerator is not longer cooling. It's not completely off but doesn't cool as well as it use to. Do you have service reps in different areas you can recommend? I'm outside of Charlotte in a town called Waxhaw 28173

Freezer is fine but the refrigerator is not keeping cool. I have adjusted the temperature setting up to the coldest position, but still not cooling the refrigerator.

Refrigerator and Freezer both stopped cooling at the same time. 4 years old. Lights are on, everything else works.

You will need to clean the condensor coil. It is usually under the refrigerator on newer models and in the rear on older models. All you need to do is use a vacuum to clean it. Also try to leave some room behind the refrigerator, do not keep it too close to the wall. It needs to circulate the warm air it extracts.

The temperature of the fridge has risen to 11/12 degrees & wont come down? Freezer works fine! Any answers please

Don't know the make and model of your fridge, but most fridges have only one evap coil located in the freezer. The fridgerator compartment is cooled by a fan to blow air from the coil back into the fridgerator section. Check that the fan is working and the vents in the fridgerator are not blocked. Often the problem might be that the defrost circuit is not functioning causing ice to build up on the evap coil thus block the air flow to the fridge. If you seen any ice build up in freezer or refrigerator that could be the problem. If that is the case, then you need to have the defrost circuit troubleshot, typical failures are the heater itself or the defrost timer if you have an older model. Hope this helps you.

My GE fridgerator will not make ice and will not

Open the door and depress the door/light switch, the evaporator fan motor should run.If it doesn't make sure the thermostat is set cold enough. If it is,you could have a bad defrost timer.they are fairly inexpensive and easy to replace.Every day the compressor and evap, motor shut down for @ 10 min and the heaters are turned on to defrost the evaporator to prevent ice buildup. You could have a compressor problem also but lets hope not.

Fridgerator not cooling

I've had the same problem and it is the thermister inside the freezer compartment. There is probably a ice build up there too. remove the 2 screws and check, you can fix this yourself and save $100 bucks.
