Question about Heating & Cooling
The model number is 7970-656/D and its also a gas furnace, ive read similar posts about this, pretty much i can get the pilot started and the cooling fan will start but the actual fan that pushes the air through the place wont start, not to mention after getting the pilot light to start after a little bit it will go out. Im guessing because the fan that pushes the air through the place wont kick on, my neighbor says its prolly the pressure switch needing to be replaced. Either way please help? Its cold and id like the easy fix...not the lots of $$$ fix please lol
First clean pilot , then clean flame sencor this cost nothing only time , check tubes to pressure switch are tight not split of blocked , take asmall drill bit and clean out the connections on the pressure switch some times these can block ,blow it out after you have done this put tubes back on , then check air fitler is clean , you can try and jump ou tpressure switch some times you can fool it in to working , try doing this it may help.
