Why do oven light bulbs last only 2 weeks or so? Am using Philips 25w, 300 deg C rated, 1,000 hour life. AEG Competence double oven

Several things can shorten the life of bulbs. It could be a factory defect, the filament is receiving too much voltage,
physical shock while the filament is heated, vacuum leaks in the bulb seal or base.
Suggest try another brand preferably heavy duty.

Aeg manual

In order to help you turn on the oven you will need the oven manual. But as you have not provided the model number it is hard to advise which manual applies. You may want to visit this website and type the model number after you check it from the plate on the oven door. (side). AEG Service Support User Manuals
