If so you need to remove the front cover and try to determine if the water is coming down the Spinner Support shaft or if there is a leak in the drain line system.
I suspect with limitted info this could be a tub seal leak. with water collectig on the Clutch Pulley. Possible Tub Seal issue a big job but can be done by a basic DIY'er. I have helped others on this site replace the tub seal and Outer Tub Bearings.
If you want to DIY the fix we need to troubleshoot further and this is not the forum for that.
If you want to DIY the repair Google this phrase ""Sticky: Neptune TL Washer FAV6800AWW""" post your problem as a new issue not in the sticky and I will try to help.
sounds like your water fill valve is bad, after awhile it gets sediment buildup inside and the valves get stuck, not a hard job to replace it,and as for as leaking ,it could be a hose, your main tub seal in between the drun and transmission could be leaking!
My Maytag washer model #:sav515deww is leaking underneath during the spin cycle. I took off the 2 front panels. I have been told taht it is a bearing and a seal that are out. Replacement parts cost approx $90.00. Unit is 5 years old. Is it hard to fix? Thanks
this is either the front seal that goes from the outer tub to the front of the washer or a hole in the outer tub itself or one of the hoses underneath the seal and the hoses are easiest to check you can take a cup of water and slowly pour it into the front seal. take care not to overfill it to where it spills into the tub and see if you are getting water on your floor from that. the hoses tip the washer up onto its back and look at them from the bottom for any cracking etc. the tub itself can only rust out on some of the neptune models or on others is plastic and can get punctured. just have to look for damage with a light and a mirror.
The first thing that I would check, is the hot & cold water hoses, that connect in the back of the washer, to see if they are tight. If they are tight and still leaking from there, then the rubber washer, inside the brass fitting part needs replaced. If that doesn't help, then disconnect the power, and water hoses, then turn the washer over and check the water hose underneath, to see if its leaking. One of these hoses has to be the problem.
Water sprayed out of ( the leaky washers in the hot water shut off valve which need to be replaced. They are inside all valves and wear out in time from normal use! Or you can have a bad solder joint at the junction between the hot water shut off valve or the the pipe joint! these washers in any shutoff valve can leak intermittently till they get worse and then leak all the time! you should be able to stand there and watch it as you open and close the shut off valve again and again , and then stay there and watch it start leaking! Or when you are opening it and closing the valve 4 times straight you may feel a trickle of water from the valve stem!!!! This means washers in the valve stem need to be replaced!!! Get a new plumber !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm no plumber but I do under stand this!

water can leak from the other valve while filling up if you dont have the hose on it,if you blank the valve off with a nut and tail with a coin and rubber washer in it that will fix your problem.hope this helps.
