Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Incoming voice messed up - but outgoing voice can be heard

I've had my phone for almost a year. Today, all of the sudden when someone called their voice is really scrambled. They claim that they can hear me clearly, but I cannot hear them. When I tried calling back they still could hear but me, but all I hear is fuzz. Based on past experience, and the fact that I have 5 full service bars, I'm assuming reception is not the problem. I also have the same issue when I use a head set- so I suspect it is not the speaker on the cellphone.

What is the Moto g4 Plus "Voice Privacy" setting? If checked, it enables enhanced privacy mode, but I have no idea what that does.

Motorola claims their Voice Privacy feature digitally "scrambles" the voice signals being sent between your phone and your cellular provider.

Not quite to the same security level as a truly encrypted call would be, but it does make it more difficult for someone to intercept/eavesdrop on your calls.

possible signal issue, dial *228 to update roaming network, and then power off your phone for 30 seconds and then turn it back on and place a test call. If that doesn't work call cust. service of your provider and have them check for network problems in your area. Hope that works

I have a VX8550R Cell Phone and all of sudden today when people call me or I call them; they can't hear me. However I can hear them clearly. What can I do? I have already tried to restart it and remove...

Check out this link below to download a PDF manual, software, and more for your phone. Just copy and paste into your browser.

From page 21 in your manual:
The Mute Function prevents the transmission of your voice to the caller. To quickly activate Mute while in a call, touch the Left Soft Key [Mute], then to unmute touch the Left Soft Key [Unmute].

Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else. It would be very kind of you if this does work for you to please rate me or leave a short note. I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
