Question about Sony VAIO PCG-K35 Notebook
HELP! I had a cracked screen on my Vaio VGN-TXN laptop, but it STILL worked... The crack got annoying, so I ordered a NEW screen which should have been a simple fix.
I put the new screen in, and its backlight does not work, and you can see the screen working fine. So, I put the new one back in the box, and put the OLD screen back on. Now, the OLD screen (which did work before, just cracked!) is not working--the backlight does not light up.
I'm HOPING its not the motherboard ($425), but I do NOT see any kind of switch/sensor for the lid on this model!
Does anyone know where the switch/sensor is for these models? Or has anyone else had a similar problem?
