Question about Kenmore 62602 Electric Dryer
My dryer has stopped spinning so I am guessing it is the belt... could this be the problem?
Yes it could be the problem. Its faily easy to do, just take the front panel off. unscrew to dryer vent and sometimes the control panel. Then pop the top up and the front panel comes off. its all right in front of ya from there.

Hello Hannah Kottman - Sounds like the tub is unbalanced from either a bearing/pulley suspension problem or the unit has broken something off in between the tub and outer portion of the unit. This is not a typical DIY job since the entire back panel of the unit needs to be pulled off and diagnosed. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
