My TCL 55 smart tv loses the wifi signal. This worked for almost two years and I know the signal is great at about 50mbps. Started about a month ago, now works 15 minutes.

This could be from interference. What has changed in your area? IF something is transmitting Bluetooth or other wifi signals, it may be causing your signal to be dropped.

What can i do to stop from going back to homepage every five decounfs while im browsing the net

While clearing the cache and checking your network settings are excellent suggestions, if they DO NOT resolve the problem then it is likely you have a weak or bad connection to your Internet provider (either the cellural data link and/or the WiFi link). This can occur due to a weak or intermittent signal or due to strong signal interference. I suspect the latter because you seem to be able to connect easily (indicating at least a good initial signal), but then it abruptly drops. Interference can come from many sources (motors, microwave oven, competing radio signals, nearby electrical lines, or a neighbor's WiFi signal on the same frequency and channel, etc.) It can also be caused by other devices on your own network such as a satellite box, a printer, or a streaming device that also connects to your Internet provider's signal.

A simple way to troubleshoot WiFi interference is to look at other ambient signals. Download an app called WiFi Analyzer from the Google Playstore. Run the app and very slowly move around the areas where you access the Internet. All measurable ambient signals will be displayed, including your primary signal, with their channel and relative signal strength. If there are others that approach or surpass your primary signal on the same channel, then WiFi interference is a likely source of your problem. The fix: change your router's signal to another (unused) channel. This is done by entering the router's setup routine and modifying that setting (usually at an internal URL address at or similar to http://192.168.1.1 - the exact URL and directions are on the documentation that came with your router or on the manufacturer's website).

The WiFi Analyzer may well identify the problem. But it will not identify other local sources of interference nor a weak primary signal, such as mentioned above. But changing the router channel may still help.

Or, you may eventually need to invest in a better router (N or AC protocol, and dual frequency) and/or switch to another service provider with a stronger signal in your area.

Insignia tv wifi interference

This would depend on how you have everything set up. Is your wireless router right next to the TV? Try moving the router a bit away from the TV to prevent interference. If you're still encountering issues, it may because your wifi signal is too weak (too slow), or you don't have enough bandwidth. In either case, you may want to consult your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for further assistance.

Android 2.2 has wifi problems. But you can do radio site survey and connect hotspot to see what went wrong? you may have signal interference from refrigerator or other sources. Or moving objects reflecting wifi signals. Most wifi/g/n chipsets use ofdm mode which has more signal problems than the /b DSSS mode. We are recommending older laptops to use /b wifi cards.

We bought a Panasonic KX-TG 8321 AL cordless phone last christmas and it was working well until recently. It suddenly started picking up interference from the adsl wi-fi transmitter to the point we need to...

Unfortunately the EMI/RF interferances are a conflicting part of our day to day life.
Now you have this conflict of the wifi with your cordless to interfere.
So one option is to keep the base phone off to another location away from the wifi.
Move the antennae away from the strong signal pick up to lessen the interference. If porblem started recently it can be fault in the base unit changing. frequency

Excellent signal low speed transfer

You can boost the signal range of a WiFi computer network in several ways: Answer:
  • reposition your router (or access point) to avoid obstructions and radio interference. Both reduce the range of WiFi network equipment. Common sources of interference in residences include brick or plaster walls, microwave ovens, and cordless phones. Additionally, consider changing the WiFi channel number on your equipment to avoid interference.

  • upgrade the antenna on your router (or access point). WiFi antennas on most wireless base stations can be removed and replaced with more powerful ones.

  • add another access point (or router). Large residences typically require no more than two APs, whereas businesses may employ dozens of APs. In a home, this option requires connecting your primary wireless router (access point) to the second one with Ethernet cable; home wireless routers and/or APs don't normally communicate with each other directly.

  • add a bi-directional WiFi signal amplifier to wireless devices as needed. A WiFi signal amplifier (sometimes called "signal booster") attaches to a router, access point or Wi-Fi client at the place where the antenna connects. Bi-directional antennas amplify the wireless signal in both transmit and receive directions. These should be used as WiFi transmissions are two-way radio communications.

  • add a WiFi repeater. A wireless repeater is a stand-alone unit positioned within range of a wireless router (access point). Repeaters (sometimes called "range expanders") serve as a two-way relay station for WiFi signals. Clients too far away from the original router / AP can instead associate with the WLAN through the repeater.

Wifi on thinkpad

i believe you are getting service interupt this can be caused by other signals in the house or outside blocking you wifi
try moving comp closer to the signal of modem
see if this helps
some wifi's are not stong enough signal and gets disconnected
also someone can be back dooring your wifi signal to steal it
this i would call local cable company you are serviced with and have them test your wifi for intrusions
