You will need the setup cd of xp, and possibly SATA drivers for the xp setup to find the HDD (HardDrive) Of your laptop after the setup you may have some difficulty in finding the xp drivers, but I recall sony has good driver support. so the drivers should be available at http://www.vaio-link.com/submenu/downloads.asp?site=voe_en_gb_cons

You should have the drivers from the recovery discs that came with your PC. You can try thunderbird as an alternative email client.

VAIO laptop VGN-FE865E drivers for XP Windows

There is another Problem just like this... and it seems like there is no Win XP driver for this product.
