    Thanks for the tips.
Actually I tried them all. Press the reset button on the rear of the router didn't work at all. I couldn't use 192.168.0.1 or manufacture CD, it couldn't connect to router. This router is only one year old. I didn't want to think the router is dead.

Hi, maybe try resetting it.

You will loose of the settings by doing this, so make a note of the settings by logging into the router. You can do this by typing 192.168.0.1 into your web browser address bar. The username is admin, the password is either password, 12345 or leave it blank. You can save your settings to your pc by logging in too.

Or you can use the cd from your internet provider to set it up once its reset.

To reset the router, locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit. With the router powered on, use a paperclip to hold the button down for 10 seconds. Release the button and the router will go through its reboot process. Wait about 30 seconds to access the router. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. When logging in, the username is admin and leave the password box empty.

Now its reset you can restore your settings, manually, with internet providers cd or by using a back up file.

Let me know how you get on.

My D-Link WBR 2310 router signal keeps dropping. Is this a problem with firmware?

This type of problem can be related to a firmware issue on the router and what you can do here to try in correcting the problem is to do first some changes on the wireless settings of the router like the channel and play around with it and look for a stable channel but if still the same problem do a firmware upgrade on it.

Need help to install router, westell modem already installed

Turn off the modem (unplug it). Plug the eithernet wire into the router and into the modem. Turn on the modem - when lights become stable, turn on the router. - when the lights become stable, turn on your wireless computer. Make sure your wireless is enabled. Use the wizard you will find in Networking (Control Panel).

I love Network Magic for network management, You may choose to get this program and use it. Google "Network Magic"

D-link WBR-2310 Stop working

Sounds like a defective modem/modem failure if, it does not reset or if you take all of the other wires out and just leave the power in and none of the other lights go off then that is definitely a defective mode, I suggest either returning the modem to where you purchased it from or calling D link it should be covered under there warranty for replacement.

Issue with WEP/WPA (WBR-2310)

Well if you updated the firmware and your still having issues contact dlink for a possible replacement it sounds like the hardware could be bad or you can try uploading same firmware by crash reseting router and uploading latest firmware again.
