Write protect i can't delete files in my flash disk, my pc say's that my flash disk is "write protected" but my flash disk dont have any write protect switch, how can i unprotect my flash disk? please help me......... ivouge is the manufacturer of my flash disk

The message which you are facing while formatting your flash drive maybe be due to below reasons.
1) It could be due to virus. Try to scan your flash drive with your anti-virus and check.
2) Second reason would be when you connecting your flash drive it may include some autorun files which starts its own when you connect your flash drive and because that file is running it wont allow to be formatted, so try to delete all the files including in your flash drive and than try formatting.

There is right protect switch on many pen drives , a physical write protect switch which enables you to either allow writing on the disk or disallow writing on the disk.

All you need to do is toggle the right protect switch and you would be able to write files on your pen drive.

maybe your flash has switch for write protection, try to switch the lock to unlock, if there is no switch try to remove write protected profile from your flash.
1. open folder option then uncheck 'use simple file sharing'.
2. right click your flash then choose sharing and security.

Hi there

You flash disk is write protected and you cannot delete or add new file from the flash disc. Just click right mouse and choose the program each text. One of those is the tools to unwrite protect the flash disk or if there is pop up software in your computer that use to write protect the flash disc.

CHECK if it is not physically protected, a small button/switch might be on the stick!
THEN, try any other flash drive or memmory stick to locate the target problem (memorry stick, or usb port mulfunction or even security/driver issue).

PLUS, there are some programes that might protect flash drives, check if u have any, and uninstall them, and make sure u have deleted ther HIDDEN system files located on the stick!

hi Not only your pendirve your computer system is also affected by virus . please check your pendrive with any other computer .before you connected open your pendrive format your pendrive with any other computer. if it will not work you have go for any new pendirve. bye

check your flash drive if there a switch or button for lock and unlock label at the side of the flash drive.
