Question about Canon PowerShot SD750 / IXUS 75 Digital Camera
Using the usbc.....the camera won't turn on at all
The camera does not charge the battery through the USB port. Connecting the camera to a computer drains the battery faster, as the camera has to use juice to communicate with the computer (even if only to say it has nothing to say). Please use the supplied battery charger or a replacement.

I had the same problem with flashing red light on my charging dock (within 10 sec after 2nd green light came on). I did fix it. There is a rust brown securing tab that holds the battery in place. Mine must have a broken spring..... So, I put the battery into my camera, pushed securing tab over the battery and then wedged a toothpick tip to keep battery tab in place. Once back on the charger, I had no more flashing red light. The battery is charging correctly. The problem was that the battery was not held down into place correctly. I now just have to unwedge the toothpick tip to remove the battery...but not really an issue at all as I keep the battery in there all the time. Very easy fix!!!
Others suggested to reseat the plastic dock. But mine was secure. Somewhere there is not a good battery connection that is causing the red flashing light. I am thankful to figure it out. Hope this helps you.

SOURCE: I have a Sony AX
Does there is something happened when you turn on the camera? If you can heard sound made by the len or the camera try to open but turn off in a second? If so, there is something wrong with the lens, and this how to fix camera lens error will be helpful. Else, if the camera are without any reaction you can check it the joint of the camera to battery is well.

Battery exhausted means you have to get rid of your battery and buy a new one. You can't use it anymore.
