First, I'd suggest working through the site at http://www.insignia-products.com to troubleshoot. Another good option would be to check the Insignia section at anythingbutipod.com where they have a decent community sharing information about the line of MP3 and MP4 players.

Or, posting the problem description on here might help too, although most hardware problems (cracked or dark screens, wheel movement not registering, etc) are difficult to fix yourself.

If those don't help, you can try 1-877-467-4289 (Monday through Sunday, 7 am - 12am CST).

You don't mention the exact model number but here's a place that lists a number of jWIN player manuals.

I would imagine one of them would be close enough to get you started.

My Sansa Clip 2GB MP3 player won't let me add any more songs to it, even though there's 1.26 GB still available. I don't want to reformat the player, cuz that'll delete the songs I already have on there. ...

Hi there..

When you say having difficulty in adding the songs in CLIP, though you have enough space. I'd kindly request you to check for the number of songs that you have added.

Because when you add as MP3 player by default its bit rate is 128kbps so you can add up to 500 songs only. Kindly have a check on it.

I have given the number of songs that can be added with related to size of MP3 player..

Size of the player :512MB 1GB 2GB 4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB
Number of songs : 125 250 500 1000 2000 4000 8000

Kindly revert if any clarifications....

I can't find a driver for my Samsung mp3 yp-u3 player

You need to go to Samsung's website and find there download page and enter your exact model number of the mp3 player (there are quite a few that start with YP-U3 so you will need to figure out its exact model number) and enter the number in the search box and click ok, once it brings you to the page for your model look for a tab that says software and click it then download the program samsung media studio and install it which should install the appropriate drivers for your mp3 player

Part number

It should be written directly on back of player, but if you just need it for the website, then just enter Sansa m200 series

How do i delete songs from my mp3 player?

Mp3 Players rarely if ever hold as many songs as they advertise - the numbers on the box, spec sheets are "ideal" numbers based on unrealistic 2-minute long songs all in mp3 ultra-compressed format. Although there are exceptions, I have found that, in general, 6GB = 1000 songs, 2GB = 400 songs, 1 GB = 200 songs. Very long audio files, audio books, etc will throw these numbers WAY off.

MyMusix's PD-6030:
If you are using Windows Media Player 11, go to the sync tab and make sure it is displaying only the files on your Mp3 player, and not every file stored on your Computer's hard drive. Click once on a song you want to delete, and then hit the delete button on your computer's keyboard.
If your not using Windows Media Player 11, then read pp. 17-20 of your user's manual, available at www.mymusix.com

Can't find serial number

The serial number is behind the battery. You will have to unscrew the back cover to remove the battery. I wish there was another way.
