my guess, is you removed them and didnt mark them?
the firing order?
what engine, there are 5.

to do this , one need to know 5 things.
2.5L, 2.8L, 4.0L and 5.2/5.9L engine displacements.
the distributor rotation direction CCW, or CW
and last the firing order, sometimes marked clearly on the intake manifold.
you must now where #1 cylinder is (always most front)
1989-98 2.5L Engine firing order: 1-3-4-2 Distributor rotation: Clockwise
2.8L Engine firing order: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Distributor rotation: Clockwise
4.0L Engine firing order: 1-5-3-6-2-4 Distributor rotation: Clockwise
5.2L and 5.9L Engine firing order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 Distributor rotation: Clockwise
on a v6/v8 one cylinder is more forward. this is #1, look carefully.

Have a problem with my electrical Kraftsman chain saw, the engine is running and the chain is rotating, but when I put it against the tree for cut, the chain will stop rotate bot the engine is still...

The main drive gear is slipping. This is caused by etiher worn teeth or worn bearings. If you pass the model number I can show you a diagram of where to look and what part or parts that have most likely failed. The drive gear is the weakest link but the motor can be shifting in the housing away from the drive gear. It only takes a bit less than 1/8 inch side play. The model number will be similar to this 358.341160

Most likely it is item 26 of this diagram:

This example is for model 358.381160

If your in the USA here are the part numbers for a complete ice maker assembly for your unit:

497877 or 649288 (Net search these part numbers!)

Here is the ice maker for $105.00 (has image)
http://www.bizrate.com/649288

Another source for $109.00
http://www.apwagner.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&zenid=vl84n933nlp817ule1n20ol1h7&products_id=2686128 (no image)

The price range for the whole assembly is from $96.50 - $122.00 depending upon the source. The only takes about 20 minutes to swap out. Your right the it does NOT make sense. It sounds like you had an extortionist in home visitor. As a lifetime in home technicial it really bothers me to hear stories like yours where a tech came to your home and quoted such an outrageous repair cost. It just rubs me the wrong way.

Here is the searspartsdirect link to just the ice maker for your unit: (no image)

The icemaker is item 421 of this link after you select Freezer:

Why do I need to defrost every week?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. I had to do a reverse lookup of your model number and think I am close with this model number: 106.72102100 and can be found using the www.searspartsdirect.com website. Your defrost timer is item 4 of this link:
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kenmore-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-10672102100/0582/0166000/P0109056/00002?blt=06&prst=&shdMod=
detailed view:
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/Kenmore-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/482493/0046/106/Model-10672102100/0582/0166000?keySuffixId=NA&productTypeId=x&searchModelNumber=10672102100&subCompDesc=Liner&brandDesc=KENMORE&modelDesc=TOP-MOUNT-REFRIGERATOR&blt=11

It should automatically cycle your refrigerator into the defrost mode as often as 3 times a day. When the defrost timer or the defrost element (item 4 this link: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kenmore-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-10672102100/0582/0166000/P0109056/00006?blt=06&prst=&shdMod=
fails you will have to do a manual defrost. In addition a failed bi-metal thermostat (item 2 same link) can also cause the unit not to cycle out of the defrost cycle once it begins.

You can manually rotate the defrost timer using the 2 tabs if you kneel down and look into the overhead of the fresh food compartment. You will see a circular hole with the inclined tabs on it. Rotating this SLOWLY until the compressor shuts off or you hear a noticable click will start the defrost cycle. (Due to the inclined tabs you can only rotate it ONE direction.) The defrost cycle should self terminate after abiut 45 minutes. If it does not self terminate that indicates a problem with one of the 3 main defrost components. Timer, element or bi-metal thermostat.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly
